Marina Matić, PhD, is a licensed gestalt psychotherapist and a member of the Croatian Chamber of Psychotherapists. She graduated in 2012 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia. At the same university, in 2021, she obtained her PhD in the field of pedagogy. The title of her doctoral thesis was The relationship between adolescent subcultural styles and leisure time. She studied gestalt psychotherapy as part of the European Accredited Psychotherapy Training Institute EAPTI Psihika.

Since 2012, she has gained extensive knowledge and experience while working as a teacher and pedagogue in secondary and elementary schools and as a lecturer and teaching assistant at the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer of Osijek, Croatia. From 2019 to 2022, she had been an associate of the Social Welfare Centre in Osijek, providing professional assistance and supervision in the field of child care. Since the establishment of the Geštaltum office, she has continually provided counseling and psychotherapy services to clients.
